Anonymous asked: I was looking through your main tumblr blog and saw the AU picture of Jonathan, Jacqueline and Penn as CSI. I was wondering, since Jonathan has an artificial leg in that picture, what were the circumstances behind him getting it? I'm guessing since it was an AU picture, his main version doesn't have the artificial leg, right? ;p
No matter what universe Jonathan winds up in, he loses the leg, haha. The circumstances are different, but it’s a definite part of his character that has been in place for a little over a decade. So, he won’t always start off someplace with his prosthetic, but if I use him long enough, it has to happen. Consider it like, author-induced fate!
UNFORTUNATELY I can’t tell you the exact circumstances for the AU! It’s for an RP that I participate in with friends, and would not only wind up really convoluted to explain, but it contains spoilers for other characters, as well…! If it helps to say, though, Jonathan works with security systems, and most times the event that causes him to lose the leg has to do with a plan going horribly wrong while in a tight space, paired with either something collapsing or something exploding.

Sam: Oh, well, haha! Well… of course I’m gonna give you the ah, the snotty cook answers, right? Right! I mean, it is right. I’m gonna. Butter and whole milk, all the way, I’m… I’m definitely not one of those, um, health food… health conscious low-fat types of chefs. Maybe someday I will be, once I’ve had, I don’t know, a… few heart attacks, or who knows? Oh, I grew up with butter, too, just… to tag that on, my family has never skimped on the fat.

Green an’ brown both look real good to me. Y’know. Earthy-like. But anybody can have sexy eyes, it’s all about how ya work it.

Aw man, I’m from New Causal, it’s about as big as it gets. It’s busy, though, like… fast. Everybody’s movin’ fast, goin’ for maximum efficiency. I like things a little slower, without bein’ boring.

Had a couple teachers that were pretty cool… don’t really remember their names, though, heh! Kinda did my own thing as a kid, yea?

TMI… Monday?
I don’t know how often I’ll be around tomorrow, so I thought I’d move it up a day! You can still feel free to pick from this list (I have found offering numbered questions is a little easier than expecting people to come up with them off the cuff - ease of use, so to speak!), but you can also ask anything you’d like. Harlowe: Okay, I’m gonna give it to pirates, and lemme tell you why… I don’t mean like, old school yarrrr pirates, but I mean modern-day Somali pirates, ‘cause media doesn’t TELL YOU why they are out there pirating. Other nations are dumping nuclear waste off their coastline, gettin’ people sick and ruining their fish population which they need to survive, and so the whole ROOT of like, Somali piracy, is ‘cause they go out there to try and collect TAXES against people that are severely polluting their country and ruining their lives, like, it’s basically DEFENSIVE but nobody ever talks about that and that really riles me up because can you even believe, like? If they did that in a different nation, just straight-up dumped nuclear waste into the water, PEOPLE WOULD FUH-LIP OUT. But it’s Somalia so nobody cares but the PIRATES DO, but… this is probably… way more of an answer than you wanted, haha, sooooo. Yeah. Pirates, for eco-awareness!
